Bubble Maker Children can scuba dive at the age of 8 years old. The first step is to practice in the swimming pool with a full set of diving gear. Snorkeling 101

A day at the pool teaching the kids how to snorkel so that someday they can scuba dive with us. Elizabeth got it immediately and spent most of the time on the slides, diving boards and deep water. The Beach at the Grand Palladium Resort - Riviera Maya, Mexico

The Grand Palladium Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico has an amazing beach. The beach is almost 1/2 mile long. There are chairs and cabanas everywhere. We never had to look for chairs for our family. There is a coral reef at one end of the beach. You can borrow snorkeling equipment and life vests for free from the activities counter. You can also use peddle boats, wind surfers, and small sail boats for free. Our kids had a great time swimming, snorkeling, and playing in the sand. There's a sit down restaurant right on the beach that we enjoyed eating lunch at.
