Bubble Maker Children can scuba dive at the age of 8 years old. The first step is to practice in the swimming pool with a full set of diving gear. This is an introduction into breathing underwater and playing games to help with buoyancy and comfort. Seal Team 8 & 9 Year Olds: After the bubble maker, there are aqua missions that can be completed in the pool to gain seal team certification. They include exercises to enhance understanding of the equipment both under the water and setting up and checks before entering the pool. It is really good for having fun but also enforcing safety and awareness. Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) 10 Years Plus: The discover scuba diving program is the same for adults and children. The same pool session with a few skills and then a shallow dive in the ocean. A great experience for the whole family and an introduction into scuba and the underwater world. Junior Scuba Diver -- 10 Years Plus: At the age of 10 years old you can move onto the junior scuba diver certification and dive in the ocean here in Puerto Vallarta. The course is the same as the adults scuba diver course and after completion you are limited to diving to 40ft with a padi professional.
